Vrtovčan Vipava is a type of white wine that is prepared as an introduction to the new year. It is therefore a young wine made from typical Vipava varieties, such as Malvazija, Zelen, Sauvignon. The wine is fresh. It combines floral and herbal scents. It is medium-bodied, smooth and harmonious. A pleasant combination of aromas and flavors, acidity and slightly higher sugar form a bouquet of flowers that harmonize beautifully with each other.

Aging ability: 5 years.

Serving temperature: from +10 to + 12°C.

Hand picked grapes. A few hours of maceration of the grape must, pressing and clarification of the must by sedimentation at low temperatures. Fermentation at temperatures of 10 °C to 20 °C. A partial biological fermentation was carried out in the wine. Three-month maturation of the wine on dead yeasts in stainless steel tanks.

Varietal composition: Rebula, Malvazija, Laški Riesling, Sauvignon, Pinela, Green, Yellow Muscat, Chardonnay 

Alcohol: 12.5 % vol.
Total acids:  5.3 g/L
Sugar: 3.1 g/L
